On Thursday evening, July 19, 2025, a strong storm with heavy rain and winds occurred in our area. A bolt of lightning struck a pair of trees at the edge of the Common Area (C/A) on the west side of the bridge entrance. Two trees were felled by the strike, with one falling onto the Common Area grounds that are mowed, bringing down lots of vines and other brush debris. Within a couple days, President Mitch worked with a company to clean the C/A and remove debris back to the wood's edge. He also arranged with another company additional work needed to complete the cleanup and restore the Common Area.
